Prominent Pakistani cleric: Iran Supreme Leader, spiritual guide of Muslim world

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A prominent Pakistani religious scholar on Monday said that Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is a spiritual guide of Muslim world and his decree against nuclear weapons is an eye opener for the western world. Patron in chief of Imam Khomeini Trust (IKT) Allama Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi said that Islamic Revolution of Iran is flourishing under the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader.He added the decree of Supreme Leader on the prohibition of nuclear weapons has left no reason for West to speak against Iran’s enrichment program.He said that steadfastness of Iranians has made them a respectable nation in the world and all American efforts to isolate Iran have been failed.Managing Director of ‘Such TV’ expressing his views said that even US President Barack Obama has to acknowledge the decree of Ayatollah Khamenei against weapons of mass destruction.He went on to say that the policy of western world against Iran is changing and the West in principle has accepted Iran’s stance on nuclear program. “Iran has proved that western sanctions cannot deter their progress,” said the scholar.Naqvi added that President Rohani had a successful visit to United Nations (UN). “President Rohani is fully aware of the roots of the Islamic Revolution and he would never compromise on the integrity of his country,” he said.Managing Director of ‘Such TV’ said that Iran has never adopted the policy of double standards and stick towards its principled stance over peaceful nuclear program.The scholar added that Iran with the help of Russia has been able to stop American military action against Syria which is a great achievement. “Iran has successfully found a diplomatic solution to the Syrian crisis,” he said.Naqvi was of the opinion that the speech of President Rohani at UN and his meetings with the world leaders have shown that Iran holds a major position in the world politics.He said that Iran is a role model for the Muslim world. He urged the leaders of Muslim states not to become tools in the hands of so called powers.The analyst said that Muslims have to understand that western powers are dependent on their resources. “West cannot survive without the help of Muslim world,” he noted.Chief of ‘Such TV’ added that Islamic Revolution of Iran is flourishing despite western propaganda. He said that Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is the spiritual guide of Iranians as well as Muslims around the world. “People are ready to lay their lives for the Supreme Leader,” he said.Naqvi said that Iran is progressing at a fast pace and there is absolutely no threat to the stability of the Islamic Republic. /129
